Olivia, a young pregnant cat, was attacked by a dog and severely injured.  A neighbor found her and turned her into the shelter.  CAWS immediately pulled Olivia from the shelter and took her in for emergency medical care.

She had a dislocated shoulder, broken clavicle and fractured elbow.  She ultimately had to have her front leg amputated, and sadly none of her kittens survived.  But the good news is that today, Olivia is thriving!  She has been adopted by a wonderful family and they tell us she is making herself right at home! Her favorite place to hang out is on top of the refrigerator. Without CAWS and our incredible donors, Olivia would not have survived.
