Community Cat / TNR Program
$4,505 of $5,000 raised
CAWS roots began over 25 years ago by helping feral cats; often called community cats now. The strategy to save community cats is different than it is for adopted cats & relies on community-based programs to humanely manage their numbers while allowing them to share the world with the rest of us.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is not only humane, it is a very effective way to reduce the number of homeless cats by reducing births, which in turn saves lives, and also allows community cats to live peacefully in their colonies within our communities. .
Your donation to our TNR program will be used to offset the cost for spay & neuter, vaccinations, deworming and basic vet care for community cats.
Thank you to all of the CAWS’ kind donors:
