Help Kyra See!

$10 of $3,000 raised

At just 1 year old, scared and alone, Kyra found herself in the dark.  We mean this very literally.  After a horrific and tragic turn of events, Kyra and 4 of her nearly lifeless 3 week old puppies, were pulled from a dark and neglectful situation to discover that she literally could not see.  Our hearts broke for this girl, so young and already so much tragedy in her life.

Kyra thankfully made her way to us where after raising her remaining 4 puppies, and sending them off to wonderful families, we are now able to get this girl back to a place where she is happy and healthy.
Now to solve her serious medial issue – Glaucoma.
There is a surgery that can fix her eyes.  It’s expensive but we think she deserves to see and our vet believes she could regain 100% of her vision.
After watching her eye swell with pain and pressure for months now and using every eye drop under the sun and seeing multiple specialists- It’s been determined that she is the perfect candidate for this special sight recovering surgery.  Without surgery, her eyes will need to be removed in 1-2 years.
She is just 1 year old!  With her future looking bright, we want to give her the gift of sight.  It’s estimated that we will need $3000 do to so.
Please consider a donation to help us help Kyra.
We believe that it’s not “just” a luxury to be able to see.
Thank you for helping us help her!
Lots of Love, Kyra and The CAWS Team

  • Hi! My name is Olivia and I am super spunky and I LOVE to play! One of my favorite things to do is play tag and wrestle with my brother William. I also like to perch on my foster mom’s shoulder and survey the territory. Other interests of mine include climbing, playing with da bird feather and mouse toys, exploring, and playing hide and seek. I am also an excellent jumper and sometimes I can even jump higher than my brother William! When my energy starts running low my soft side comes out. I love to be petted and I have a LOUD purr motor! When I get sleepy you will find me snuggled up next to my brother on my foster mom’s lap. Please consider adopting me. I promise to bring you many smiles and give you tons of love! Oh, and William and I need to be adopted together because we are extremely bonded you see.
