Meet Maggie! This sweet and fun little Frenchie has had quite a long and sad list of unfortunate events in just 1 short year of life.
Maggie was first brought to a local vet after her owners wanted her euthanized for needing expensive medical treatment for not one, but TWO broken front legs. Not long after that it was discovered that Maggie also had another serious issue, likely from birth; She dribbles, and she piddles, and she JUST CAN’T help it! This poor girl has been hurt, passed around, and then kicked out for having potty problems. How unfair is that?!
Sweet Maggie has been passed around more times in her 1 year of life then we can count! She deserves better and CAWS wants to make it right for her. After a consultation with one of our trusted vets it has been determined that we can help her! Her condition is most likely an ectopic ureter and we estimate the cost of this surgery and treatment to be around $1000.
