The Roosevelt Littles
A few weeks ago you may have seen the news report about a hoarding house of more then 25 little dogs that had been discovered in downtown Roosevelt. They had been abandoned nearly two months earlier by their owners.
A not-so-concerning home on the outside led to a house of horrors, neglect, and inbreeding on the inside. The conditions were horrific. Neighbors were horrified and shocked to hear that more then 25 dogs had been kept captive for years – and they had no idea. Our local Roosevelt shelter was quick to offer sanctuary to these precious souls while the city officials worked to try and bring the abusers to justice.
Now that the smoke is clear, these precious souls have emerged into the light. Many scared, some timid, but all longing for and deserving of LOVE.
Many of these dogs are suffering from parasites, decaying teeth, and deformed reproductive organs. They will need time, patience, nutrition and lots of medical care. We are committed to providing that to them! We are hoping to have them settled into new homes by the holidays and need your help!
Currently we are working to help 5 of these precious souls at a cost of $200-$300 per dog. We are hoping to collect the funds to help us cover the major medical that is desperately needed.
Please help us, help them, by donating today.
