Snuffleupagus’ Elbow Braces are Real

$25 of $1,600 raised

Snuffleupagus (Snuffy, formerly Romeo) came to CAWS in February when the shelter needed help. He is a very sweet boy, and at 9 years old, still young at heart. After noticing he has some difficulties walking, Snuffy was diagnosed with Elbow dysplasia on both elbows, which is a painful joint disease. He loves to be around people and play with other dogs, unfortunately, his elbows prevent him from living his life to the fullest. He gets frustrated when he cant keep up with other dogs and will bark, pleading to play.

Snuffy has been on daily medications and has gone through 3 sessions of shockwave therapy, which have helped him tremendously. We want to give Snuffy the pain free and mobile life he craves and deserves! We would like to get him fitted with braces, custom for him and will enable him to get a lot more mobility, so he can go for longer walks, get more exercise and chase that ball that he wants to go after so badly.

UPDATE:  Snuffleupagus has received treatment!  Thank you to everyone who has donated!
