Saving Ringo
UPDATE 3/15:
THANK YOU!!
Wow! We are so thankful to everyone who jumped in to help us get Ringo to safety- we are thrilled and humbled to report that he is back up and running. Because of the spring-into-action support system that we are surrounded, and embraced by, we were able to raise the needed money that led to the successful medical treatment and gentle after care that kept this boy on the map!
He is finally resting easy, eating well, and feeling better and stronger each day.
So often families are tragically forced to end the lives of their animals in emergency situations like this, luckily Ringo will make a full recovery. We are SO THANKFUL to our supporters- We saved him! <3
Ringo is in deep trouble- and by deep we mean very literally- he has an obstruction in his bowels and has not eaten for 4 days. His only chance of survival is emergency surgery to try and remove the obstruction, believed to be a corn cob. The surgery and after care is expected to cost around $3000 and CAWS has stepped up to quickly try and save his life. We need your help to make this happen.
Emergencies like this are usually fatal, simply because a family is not able to afford the emergency care. This boy’s family made the hard decision to surrender Ringo over to the vet when they could not afford his surgery. The vet immediately reached out to us to help him. Although surgery is very costly, our vet feels like this sweet boy has a chance at survival and recovery- but not without your help!
We are only able to help and provide care for animals like Ringo when we have the funds, help, and support of our generous donors. Please help us SAVE RINGO by donating today!
