Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to Penelopes care this far!
We wanted to update you on how well she is doing!
Last week we found that she has a heart murmur (more testing to come) but that she did well under anesthesia and while she lost more then 50% of her teeth, what’s remaining look wonderful!
We are starting to see hair regrowth and you can tell that she is really starting to feel better and feel more comfortable and confident.
We still need donations to cover the medical costs needed to get this girl all the way well. Next week her spay and heart tests will give us a more accurate idea of future care requirements.
Thank you for donating and for your support!
Our newest little gal comes from a local Utah shelter in horrific (that’s an understatement actually) condition.
Her name is unknown.
He age is unknown.
Her battered little fragile body tells a story of a lifetime of neglect and breeding. However her fighter soul says…“I was waiting for you, here I am!”
She was likely purchased from a breeder- with her surgically docked little tail and dew claws. Her pathetic existence to this point has been one of repeated breeding, minimal (if any) nutrition, and zero vet care.
This is a puppy mill (or backyard breeder) momma.
Please, Do NOT look away.
THIS is Penelope ❤️
…and she is finally looking forward to her future. She’s going to need lots of time, care, patience and medical treatment. Would you think We were crazy if we told you that we think she’s actually a schnauzer?
Our estimated costs to get her the medical care needed is currently at $1500 and we are not sure what our future expenses yet are.
We are committed to giving her what she has always deserved. Please help us show her what true love and care is. Donate today!
