Miracle Needed a Miracle, and now Baby Marvel, Too!

When CAWS saw the plea to help a small, sweet cat with a horrendous wound, they couldn’t say no. The information was that a “stray older kitten was found with her leg ‘hacked off’…” and at this point, it’s still unknown if that was (despicable) human-caused (directly or by a trap), another animal, or something else. The original finder was going to have her humanely euthanized but another kind-hearted person, who named her Miracle, took her to raise funds for the amputation. That’s when CAWS stepped in to make her a CAWS cat!

Miracle was winning her foster family by being a sweetheart & purring her heart out despite her awful injury and no one saw the new twist in her short life coming!  **Miracle gave birth to one healthy kitten, now known as Marvel!  

Miracle had her surgery yesterday while tiny Marvel waited for her at the vet’s office. She is recovering well & they will go back to their foster home today to complete Miracle’s healing process.

We can’t imagine all that Miracle has experienced so far but with CAWS backing her & your kind donations, she will have a beautiful future ahead of her.
