Loki
Update – 4/21:
“Loki had surgery to remove his necrotic scrotum on Sunday, and is now back home with his foster family to finish his healing and get spoiled.
Thank you so much to all of you who helped with his surgery and care! We truly appreciate your generosity 💜”
Please help!
Sweet Loki recently came to CAWS like many other dogs, abandoned and unwanted, from a high kill shelter and desperate for sanctuary. This routine rescue has quickly turned into a frantic emergency. His foster rushed him to the emergency vet with a rapidly swelling neuter incision, quickly swelling abdomen, 104.5 degree fever, and severe lethargy! Vets think its a result of a blood clot and now Loki is fighting for his life! This sweet and loving little guy has worked and fought so hard to make it here safely. We are frantic and hopeful that we can help him pull through.
Fluids, IV medications, and emergency care have our vets pulling out all of the stops and doing all they can to save him. Surgery is scheduled as soon as he is able to go under anesthesia. We have been quoted $3800 to save his life.
This seemingly everyday rescue pup needs our help to fight for his precious life! Can you please help us save him, again.
Please consider donating to help us. We can not do this without donations from folks like YOU!
Much appreciation,
