UPDATE:
Vet updated us, Jango is staying another night. When they try and remove him from oxygen he can’t maintain. They also have put in a feeding tube, as he is not eating on his own.
Jango is the softest, most sweetest of souls. After hearing the desperate plea’s from one of our local shelters that he was rapidly fading, we knew someone had to act fast. One of our most trusted volunteers was available immediately to grab him and get to the clinic to start working to save his life. He hasn’t eaten since Monday, is very lethargic and has severe pneumonia.
This sweet 8 year old boy is SO VERY SICK! We are pulling out all of the stops to save his life and we need your financial help to do it!
He has been in an oxygen tent at our vet all day, receiving multiple antibiotics, IV fluids and minute by minute care. With this amazing care his stats are finally up however they crash again as soon as he is taken off oxygen. He will need 24 hour care until he stabilizes and has been transferred to a 24 hour vet in hopes that he will keep making improvements.
He has so many of us pulling for him and he is showing true spirit, being gentle and kind even after being abandoned multiple times, getting sick and now receiving intense treatment.
