Helping Tommy Heal and Get Moving
HELP! Sweet Tommy is undergoing around-the-clock care at one of our trusted vets after he was surrendered to CAWS with a serious injury.
Tommy arrived with a massive infection that we have been working to treat for weeks- was this an injury that went uncared for? For how long did he suffer? We will never know.
BUT- He is healing, albeit slowly, and has full use of his damaged leg so we feel compelled to get him well so that he can keep it. Our amazing vet clinic friends have been working to do multiple bandage changes and administering multiple meds to get him well. Tommy is also a very tricky and smart boy who can get himself out of any situation, so our care team has to outsmart him on the regular! He is such a loving boy who is deserving of care to be healthy and happy- can you help us?
The care and treatment are working; however, the time and costs are weighing on us and we are in need of donations to continue to cover his care and medical expenses.
We are a non-profit animal rescue group made up of committed volunteers who can only help animals desperate for care when we have the help and funds to cover the expenses.
