Helping Fancy Move Towards a Healthy, Pain-free Future

$110 of $500 raised

Update – 12/5

Fancy is finally on the mend! After her amputation and battling an upper respiratory infection, for what felt like weeks, she is finally feeling great!
We are so thankful for the support we have received to help her and excited for her street-cat life to come to a close and for her to be adopted into a loving home. Ps- She is now available!

After being found laying on the side of the road, nearly lifeless, in a rural Utah town, Fancy was taken to the local shelter who realized she had something seriously wrong with her frail and starving little body and could not use the upper part of her rear leg. A trip to the vet confirmed a badly broken femur.

Who knows how long she has suffered- This little cat, originally thought to be a kitten, is in fact a starving and underweight/under-sized- adult cat. Working like crazy to make it on the streets with no one to care for her or help her until now.

Once the shelter reached out to CAWS, we decided we wanted to help her!

Because we are unsure how long she’s been this way, we have decided that amputation would be best. This little gal also has a raging upper respiratory infection as well and has a long road ahead of her. We are committed to getting her well!

We need your financial help to get her up and moving comfortably again and to cover her amputation and medical treatment (which we expect to be $500, possibly more) so that she can move on to find her forever family and be someone’s beloved indoor kitty.

Please consider donating today to help us cover the cost of her medical!
Love, The CAWS Team, and Miss Fancy.
