Emergency C-Section for Momma Quinn!
Update – 3/3
It’s been a month since Mama Quinn had her 7 babies and all are doing wonderfully. Quinn has been a perfect and attentive mother and has even adopted two other puppies in need! One sadly passed away, but the other has acclimated to our litter without a hitch. Puppies are growing, playing, eating, and most often: pooping.
Our 8 puppies will go online in search of the perfect adopters in about 2 weeks, but won’t leave until they are 9 weeks old. We’ve already had lots of interest in the puppies AND mom!
Thank you so much to all our generous donors!

What a whirlwind of a rescue effort for Momma Quinn!
After realizing she was very pregnant and set to be euthanized at a High-kill, neighboring state shelter, her to-be foster mom jumped in the car and started driving to meet a transport that would get her to us, and thankfully just in time!
Last night, sweet momma Quinn started laboring and after a couple of puppies were born (and another stuck) her very experienced foster momma knew she needed to get to the vet, and fast. Our closest option was all the way up north, and a frantic drive to save her life was underway in the wee hours of the night.
After a long and scary night, Quinn safely delivered 9 puppies, sadly only 7 survived. Her life-saving emergency care and cesarean surgery comes at a cost of $1700.00. Thankfully, she and the surviving puppies are doing well this morning!
We are asking for donations that will help us cover these costs, as we can only help animals in distress when we have the funds. Please consider a donation today.
