This sweet girl came from a hoarding/breeding situation, so she’s still learning to trust, but with kindness and consistency, she will become the most loyal and devoted friend. Dot is naturally shy and timid, but she finds comfort in her crate and enjoys gentle pets once she feels safe. She’s a quiet little lady who rarely barks and sleeps peacefully in her crate at night. She’s making great progress with her potty training, though she can be a little stubborn about going outside—especially if it’s cold! Her ideal home would be a calm, quiet environment with older children who understand that she needs time to adjust at her own pace. She isn’t particularly interested in other dogs but would do well with a calm canine companion. She also completely ignores cats, making her an easy fit for a multi-pet household. Though Dot is naturally reserved, she has a playful side that comes out when she’s comfortable. She loves following her person around the house, snuggling under blankets, and being a quiet, loving presence while you watch TV.
