Meet Lucy — your future snuggle soulmate! Lucy is a 3-year-old Catahoula/Cattle Dog mix with a gorgeous red merle coat and stunning dichromatic eyes. Kids always point out how unbelievably soft her fur is — “as soft as a horse’s nose!” — and they aren’t wrong. Lucy is an incredibly loving girl who adores every member of the family, including children. She’s fully potty trained, great on leash, and listens beautifully. Her favorite place in the world is curled up right next to her humans on the couch or in bed, soaking up all the affection she can get. She’s playful, enjoys toys, and is very food-motivated, which makes her fun to train and easy to bond with. Lucy has even completed dog training school, and her adopter will receive a complimentary session to help her settle into her new home. Lucy is dog-selective and will do best as the only dog in the home, though she coexists well with her foster family’s small dog.
