Sheba is a sweet and loyal 9-year-old, 40-pound Australian Cattle Dog looking for her perfect adventure buddy! Life hasn’t given her many experiences yet, so she can be a little shy at first—but she’s a natural explorer who loves learning about the world. With a patient and kind guide, she’ll blossom into a confident and devoted companion. Sheba is crate trained, housebroken, and walks well on a leash—though, true to her heeler instincts, she’ll sometimes circle behind you to keep her "herd" in check. Off-leash, she’s great at making sure everyone stays together. Whatever you’re doing, Sheba is happy to be part of it—whether that’s snuggling on the couch, going for a car ride, or hitting the trails for a weekend adventure. At 9 years old, her energy level is lower than a young pup’s, but don’t let that fool you—she can still keep up on hikes and outings! She doesn’t need constant exercise, making her a great match for someone who enjoys weekend adventures but doesn’t have time for intense daily workouts. She’s also smart and enjoys mental challenges to keep her engaged. One of Sheba’s absolute favorite things in the world is fetch! She loves playing with balls and will bring them right back to you, dropping them at your feet, ready to go again. She also has the cutest little bobbed tail that wags with excitement whenever she’s happy. And if you give her some good butt scratches, get ready—she’ll do the cutest little dance to show her appreciation! Sheba gets along well with other dogs and is also good with cats and even chickens!
