Meet Dolce – the sweet and sassy little princess who's ready to find her forever home! At 4 years old, Dolce is as sweet as her name, with a gentle and affectionate nature that will melt your heart. Whether she’s snuggling under a cozy blanket to escape the chill or enjoying belly rubs, Dolce knows how to live the good life. Though she’s got a calm demeanor, don’t let that fool you – when she’s with her dog pals, she loves to let loose with some zoomies and roughhousing, followed by a well-earned nap. She’s a confident girl who can stand her ground when needed, especially with bigger dogs, but is overall friendly and loves to be around people. Dolce is potty pad trained (and very faithful to them), but she’ll also venture outside if the weather’s just right (no cold, wind, or rain for her!). Dolce’s perfect home would be one where she’s not left alone for long stretches and has a woman to bond with. While she is ok with men she much prefers the company of women and will actively seek them out before a man. She’s a loyal companion who wants to be near her humans and ideally would have a small dog buddy to keep her company. A home with older, dog-savvy kids would be a good fit since she’s mindful of her size and has a bit of a sensitive back. This little lady has no problem showing affection – and she expects the same in return! If you’re ready for a cuddly, gentle soul who knows how to enjoy life at a slower pace, Dolce just might be the perfect match for you. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
